Essentials about the Essentials Closet
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but do not have works? Can faith save you? If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill’, and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. - James 2:14-16
The Essentials Closet is a resource for folks who need personal care and household items.
The Essentials Closet is located at our church, the Waterville UCC. We are on the lower level of The Elm, 21 College Ave, Waterville. It is open the last two weeks of the month on Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m., Thursdays from 5-7 p.m., and Fridays from 9-11 a.m.
When available, we offer the following items:

Personal Items
Bath soap, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper, tooth brush, tooth paste, razors, shaving cream
​
Household Items
Laundry detergent, cleaning supplies
We place no restrictions on those who can access the Essentials Closet. We do ask that folks only visit once a month.
We welcome donations of the above items from 8 a.m. - Noon Wednesday-Friday and Sunday.
