Evening Sandwich Program (ESP)
Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. - Isaiah 55:1
The ESP has been around in Waterville for, literally, decades. Many folks working on ESP teams for our church have been doing that since the program's inception. The mission of the ESP is simple: feed hungry people. No questions asked. No proof of residency. No forms to fill out. Just show up and be fed. The program is housed in the basement of the local Universalist Unitarian Fellowship, 69 Silver Street. It's open from 4-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Our Teams work on Wednesdays.
